Teaching Systems Engineering and Innovative Design at Keio SDM.
Previously worked as an engineer for Mitsubishi Electric Corporation in the field of Space System Research and Development. He engaged in system development projects including “Orihime Hikoboshi” (Technical test satellite VII), “Kouno tori Spacecraft”（HTV: H-II Transfer Vehicle) and “Michibiki” (Quasi-Zenith Satellite System.)
While working for Mitsubishi, he stationed at EADS-Astrium in Germany （Model-based System Developement.）
Shirasaka’s research and education interests are: Innovative Design and Architecting methodology for technical systems and social systems
