Keio EDGE Visited Malaysia for Innovative Thinking Workshop
On May 26th and 27th, we conducted a two-day workshop at the University of Malaya as the final promotion event in Asia to select a student who will be invited to Japan to participate in Keio EDGE Program 2015. Malaysia was the 4th country that we visited for the Keio EDGE Program, following India, Indonesia and Thailand.
We interviewed four of the workshop participants as candidates for final choice of the student to be invited to the EDGE Program 2015. All four candidates were attractive to us because they were all very capable, passionate and with excellent personalities. We wish we could have invited all four of them, but unfortunately we can only invite one student to join Keio EDGE Program 2015.
We appreciate Mr. Nishida (Chairman of Kuala Lumpur Mitakai and President of Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Malaysia) who introduced us to the university. Despite his busy schedule, he found the time to join us at the workshop and at lunch, which organized by Chair of Faculty of Engineering at the University of Malaya.
